Riviera Travel Launches New Premium Itineraries

Riviera Travel has announced five new premium itineraries for 2026 as part of its European Signature category, a smaller luxury collection.

Available to book from April 9, 2025, the new collection includes tours in France, Montenegro and Albania, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

As well as introducing new routes, the award-winning cruise and tour operator has also refreshed a selection of existing tours within this category.

Combining incredible destinations with hand-crafted experiences, the goal of the thoughtfully reimagined European Signature Collection is to provide memorable moments over traditional luxury.

Riviera Travel aims to “elevate standards not only in terms of quality, but also the cultural and experiential enrichment each tour offers.”

Amongst the new routes are Grand Tours of Montenegro & A Taste of Albania, Provence & The French Riviera, Spain’s Hidden Gems Girona, Zaragoza & Valencia, Southern Spain & Portugal’s Coast, and Italy from Venice as well as The Italian Lakes: Garda, Iseo & Maggiore, and A Taste of Puglia and Basilicata.

Will Sarson, Product Director at Riviera Travel, comments:

“Our new and enhanced Signature itineraries set out to elevate premium touring, offering greater variety, high standards, and deeper cultural connections.

“This expanded collection offers expertly curated holidays that blend immersive exploration with exceptional service, raising the benchmark in premium touring.

“With growing demand for experiences over traditional luxury, we’re ensuring our tours provide meaningful connections and unforgettable moments, all while offering unmatched value for our guests.”

The new itineraries and refreshed existing tours for 2026 both offer the following premium elements as standard:

  • Small group size with an average of 22 guests
  • Enhanced excursions; more unique and memorable experiences
  • Minimum 4-star hotel rating
  • Carefully selected tour managers, who are experts in their destinations
  • Welcome drinks reception on the first or second evening

Examples of the enhanced experiences guests can expect on one of Riviera Travel’s Signature European Tours include:

Grand Tour of Madeira the Pearl of the Atlantic: A luxurious afternoon tea at Reid’s Palace, a historic hotel set in beautiful subtropical gardens overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Guests will enjoy freshly baked scones, dainty sandwiches, and mouth-watering cakes, served with a choice of Reid’s signature blend tea or coffee.

Grand Tour of Northern Cyprus and a taste of Paphos: Within the pine-clad mountains of Northern Cyprus awaits a unique winery, where artisan vintners craft exceptional wine.

After a guided tour of the winemaking process, guests enjoy a fine-dining experience at the vineyard’s boutique restaurant.

Puglia & Basilicata: Lecce, Alberobello & Matera: A visit to a local masseria – a traditional family farmhouse – that includes a tour of the underground olive mills and a homemade, rustic lunch with ingredients grown on-site.
