Riviera Travel has announced its first-ever trade awards, “The Rive Awards”, set to take place on the 10th of April 2025.
The company said that the inaugural event is set to recognise its travel trade partners for their contribution and sales of River Cruise and Touring holidays.
There will be an awards ceremony and celebratory lunch in London. The cruise and tour operator said in a statement that it launched this new trade initiative to say “thank you” to its many dedicated industry partners.
Vicky Billing, Head of Trade and Partnerships UK and Ireland at Riviera Travel said: “We are so excited to launch our first ever trade awards for Riviera Travel to recognise our biggest supporters.
“We have been thinking about this for a while and, after a record-breaking year, it feels like the right time and a perfect opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our partners for everyone’s hard work.”
Winners are chosen based on sales report data and engagement with the brand as reviewed by Riviera Travel’s executive team.
Furthermore, the market-leading company has announced that the ceremony will be hosted by award-winning TV presenter and journalist Dean Wilson.
Dean said: “I am really excited to be hosting the inaugural The Riv Travel Awards, recognising the great work of all their partners and their teams. It’s always a pleasure to see hard work rewarded.”
Following welcome drinks and an introductory speech, Dean will lead attendees through the awards, which are split into three sections.
