Riviera Travel has revealed that Germany river cruise bookings increased by 20 percent during the Euro 2024 football tournament.
The figures were taken from the four weeks from June 8 to July 12, and apply to a range of river cruise itineraries.
This would include Cologne, the Rhine Gorge & Medieval Germany; Rhine Gorge & Cologne Discovery; Enchanting Rhine & Yuletide Markets; and Gastronomy of Switzerland & the Rhine, among others.
Euro 2024 started on June 14, with the final taking place in Berlin on July 14.
