Riviera Travel has released the inaugural itinerary programmes for its two new-build river ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, which set sail in 2025.
The 178-guest Riviera Radiance will operate six different voyages on the Danube, with 35 departures across the season. They comprise:
- Blue Danube – Eight days, visiting Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, departing April to October 2025, with prices from £1,849pp.
- Blue Danube for solo travellers – Eight days, again taking in Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, departing 31 March 2025 and 3 November 2025. Prices from £2,599pp.
- Budapest to the Black Sea – Fifteen days with guided tours of Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rock and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir. Departing May, June and September 2025, with prices from £3,999pp.
- New Year on the Danube – Six days with New Year’s celebrations in Vienna and ports of call in Budapest and Bratislava. Departing 28 December 2025, prices start from £1,999pp.
- Christmas on the Danube – Eight days, visiting Bratislava, Wachau Valley, Melk, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna and Budapest. Departing 21 December 2025, with prices from £2,399pp.
- Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets – Six days, visiting Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava. Prices from £1,299pp, departing December 2025.
The 114-guest Riviera Rose will operate on the Douro, with Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca cruise. A total of 30 departures are on offer, with the first setting sail 1 April 2025.
The eight-day cruise will feature tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices start from £2,099pp.
Itineraries will be available to book from 29 February 2024.
Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose – launching in March and April 2025, respectively – will feature several firsts for the river cruise line, including bearing the Riviera name on their bows.

Guests can save up to £300pp as part of an early booking offer on select Douro and Danube itineraries on Riviera Rose and Riviera Radiance, when booked by 28 March 2024.
Across the 2024/25 season, Riviera will have seven ships operating on the Danube and the Douro, with 163 departures on offer. River cruises are also available on the Rhine, Seine and Rhone.
