Riviera Travel has revealed it its largest-ever selection of dedicated solo holidays in 2026 with 12 new solo itineraries and a new river cruise option.
The river cruise and escorted tour specialist has also introduced five new itineraries in response to guest demand.
For river cruise, Riviera Travel will offer 12 dedicated solo itineraries, up from 11 in 2025.
An eight-day ‘Medieval Germany for solo travellers’ option will be introduced. The sailing will depart in August 2026 and visit Mainz, Würzburg, Rothenburg, Miltenberg, Wertheim, Bamberg, and Nuremberg. Prices start at £3249pp.
2026 Long-Haul Escorted Touring Programme
The 2026 long-haul escorted touring programme will consist of 14 solo itineraries, with four new departures on offer. They comprise:
11-day ‘Maritime Canada for solo travellers’, including a journey along the Cabot Trail; a drive through Cape Breton Highlands National Park; tours of colonial towns such as Charlottetown and Lunenburg; Halifax; and the Fort Anne National Historic Site.
Departing May to September, with prices from £4999pp.
13-day ‘Costa Rica for solo travellers’, visiting Tortuguero National Park; the area around the perfect cone of the Arenal Volcano; and Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge.
Departing April to October, with prices from £5999pp.
14-day ‘Classic California for solo travellers’, visiting Yosemite National Park; Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego; and California’s Pacific Coastline.
Departing April to October, with prices from £6299pp.
13-day ‘Classic Egypt, Cairo, Luxor & Nile cruise for solo travellers’, visiting the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx; Egyptian Museum; temples of Karnak and Luxor; ‘Double Temple’ of Kom Ombo; sightseeing in the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile; and Aswan.

Additionally, Riviera Travel is running a travel agent incentive whereby agents can secure £50 for all European 2026 river cruise bookings made until October 31, 2024.
