In April, the Rocky Mountaineer launched a luxurious two-day train journey, connecting Denver, Colorado, to Moab, Utah, showcasing the diverse landscapes of the American Southwest.

The journey includes an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, allowing passengers to rest before continuing their exploration. Two-Day Rail Journey

Three-Day Rail Journey

Building on the epic Denver to Moab itinerary, this three-day option includes an additional travel day by rail spent soaking in the splendour of Utah’s hidden gems between Moab and Salt Lake City.
Set amidst sandstone cliffs and mesmerising ghost towns, the elevated mountain passes are the highlights on this scenic route. This journey provides a deeper rail exploration of the region, perfect for those hoping to maximise their train experience overall, while facilitating connection to the flight hub of Salt Lake City.
Rail-Only Schedule
Westbound: Departs Denver on Tuesday for both two-day and three-day rail.
Eastbound: Departs Salt Lake City (three-day rail) on Friday and Moab (two-day rail) on Saturday.
