Royal Caribbean International has announced that it has recorded its single largest booking day in its 53-year history.
The cruise line said in a statement that the strong demand comes as Icon of the Seas opened for bookings ahead of its January 2024 debut.
Dubbed the ultimate family vacation, the mega ship will feature the largest waterpark at sea, a 155ft waterfall inside a vast geodesic dome, the world’s first swim-up bar at sea and an infinity pool suspended over the ocean.
Royal Caribbean has confirmed that the ship’s first voyage sold out in just 24 hours.

The announcement of the newest record is celebrated along with a series of major, recent milestones for the brand, including the reveal of Icon of the Seas and the arrival of Wonder of the Seas into its year-round home of Port Canaveral, Florida.
