Royal Caribbean New China Journeys

Royal Caribbean has revealed an action-packed lineup from Shanghai and Hong Kong with journeys ranging from two to nine nights on Spectrum of the Seas exploring Asia’s most popular destinations from May 2026.

Destinations would include Tokyo, Osaka, Mount Fuji, Okinawa, Nagoya and Hakodate in Japan; Busan and Jeju in South Korea; Da Nang and Hue in Vietnam; and more.

Benjamin Bouldin, President, Royal Caribbean International China said:

“This is one of our most exciting lineups yet, with incredible new destinations and longer, more immersive itineraries.

“From vibrant cityscapes to breathtaking coastal escapes, these new adventures are designed for travellers looking to experience the best of Asia in a whole new way.”

Customers can look forward to brand new experiences, including first-ever 8-night adventures to Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji and Nagoya.

Those at Mount Fuji can visit the famous Five Lakes region, home to stunning views of Japan’s most iconic peak, or explore the historic city of Nagoya.

There are more ways to immerse in the region with shorter escapes to spots like the Gamcheon Culture Village in the heart of Busan, the serene hot springs of Kumamoto in Japan, and breathtaking sights in Okinawa, dubbed the Hawaii of the East.

The season’s itineraries stretch further across Asia, offering more ways to explore South Korea and Vietnam with both new and popular returning options.

Plus, the 2026-27 season will feature special holiday sailings, including Christmas and Thanksgiving getaways packed with themed entertainment, seasonal cuisine and unique holiday festivities.

Royal Caribbean is also expanding its presence in Hong Kong starting November 2026 with an exciting combination of programmes to top destinations in Asia.

These sailings offer ways to explore Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan, and other tropical and cultural hotspots.

The Hong Kong adventures also include a new “cruise-to-nowhere” experience, complete with world-class entertainment, premium dining and stunning ocean views.

Specially designed for Asia and travellers of all ages, Spectrum of the Seas offers an unforgettable getaway, combining world-class dining, thrilling activities and spectacular entertainment.

On board, customers can take in panoramic ocean views from the North Star – an all-glass observation capsule soaring 300 feet above sea level.

They can experience the excitement of skydiving on the RipCord by iFly, surfing on the FlowRider and engaging in friendly competition at SeaPlex.

The lineup of dining options includes everything from authentic Italian cuisine at Jamie’s Italian to regionally inspired flavours at spots like Hot Pot, Teppanyaki and Sichuan Red.

Families can enjoy dazzling shows like Silk Road and The Effectors, alongside cutting-edge technology shows in Two70.
