Royal Princess New Sanctuary Collection

Princess Cruises has revealed a series of enhancements aboard Royal Princess. The 3,595-guest ship has emerged from a two-week drydock in Singapore, which took place from 16 to 30 October 2026.

All details correct at the time of publication (02 November 2026).

The latest updates introduce the Sanctuary Collection to Royal Princess. They also bring new dining and social spaces to the ship’s signature Piazza.

Guests can now enjoy O’Malley’s Irish Pub and an expanded Bellini’s cocktail bar. Other improvements include an upgraded Princess Casino and a refreshed Effy jewellery boutique.

“The enhancements aboard Royal Princess introduce new accommodations, distinctive venues for entertaining, dining and socialising, and thoughtfully refreshed spaces designed to elevate every aspect of the guest experience,” said Rodrigo Llaguno, Princess Cruises chief operating officer.

“These updates build on the ship’s enduring appeal and our commitment to creating memorable holidays through exceptional experiences and the signature Princess touches our guests have valued since her debut.”

Sanctuary Collection Makes Its Debut on Royal Princess

The Sanctuary Collection is now available aboard Royal Princess. This follows Princess Cruises’ recently announced expansion of the premium offering to five Royal-Class ships.

The collection provides an all-inclusive, resort-style experience at sea. Benefits include access to the Sanctuary Club, elevated amenities and personalised service.

Guests can choose from several accommodation options. These include newly constructed ocean-view staterooms, suites, mini-suites, deluxe balcony staterooms and balcony staterooms.

In addition, the exclusive Sanctuary Restaurant has opened on deck 6, next to the Concerto Dining Room. The restaurant is reserved exclusively for Sanctuary Collection guests.

20 New Staterooms Added

Royal Princess has also gained 20 additional guest cabins following the drydock.

The new accommodation includes:

  • Six mini-suites
  • Seven ocean-view staterooms
  • Two interior staterooms
  • Five single interior staterooms

Piazza Gets a Fresh New Look

The Piazza remains at the heart of Royal Princess. However, guests will now find two enhanced venues offering more places to gather, dine and enjoy a drink.

O’Malley’s Irish Pub takes over the former Vines location on deck 5. The popular Princess pub concept brings Irish-inspired food, favourite beverages and a lively neighbourhood atmosphere to the ship.

Nearby, Bellini’s has expanded into the former Photo Gallery space. The larger bar overlooks the Piazza and serves its signature Bellini-inspired cocktails, champagne, sparkling wines and other speciality drinks.

Together, these additions make the Piazza an even more inviting social hub throughout the day and evening.

Princess Casino Gets More Space

The Princess Casino has also undergone a redesign.

The updated layout creates a more open gaming environment and provides additional space for slot machines. To achieve this, the staircase connecting decks 6 and 7 has been removed.

As a result, the casino floor can accommodate a wider selection of gaming options.

Effy Boutique and Shopping Spaces Refreshed

Guests who enjoy a spot of shopping will also find some changes on board.

The Effy jewellery boutique has been revitalised, offering a refreshed setting to browse the brand’s fine jewellery collections.

Meanwhile, The Shops of Princess have also received an upgrade. The retail operation has transitioned to a new onboard partner, Starboard.

Royal Princess Heads to Australia for Summer

Following her Singapore drydock, Royal Princess is heading Down Under for a new season of cruising from Sydney.

Guests can now experience the ship’s latest enhancements while exploring Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Royal Princess is one of three Princess Cruises ships operating in the region during the 2026-27 season. The programme features 42 unique itineraries and 62 departures.
