Sail Croatia has reported an increase in UK solo guests across its 2022 voyages.
The specialist small cruise ship operator confirms that both its yacht tour and hiking cruise experience a solo guest uplift of over 10% compared to 2019.
The yacht tours, which are group sailings for the under 39s, are proving most popular, with single traveller numbers increasing by 14%.
Hiking cruises, which are for active travellers who want to explore their surroundings on foot, have seen an 11% rise in solo travellers onboard.
The line has also seen increases in all of its other cruise products, which comprise luxury, party, explorer and cycle sailings.
Party sailings attract the most singles, with 35% of at-sea revellers choosing to travel on their own.
In total, almost a quarter of all guests who book with Sail Croatia are now unaccompanied, said the cruise line in a statement.
Grant Seuren, Sail Croatia Director, said: “Now more than ever it’s clear your personal circumstances shouldn’t be a barrier to enjoying your ideal holiday.
“Whether you’re on your own or want to enjoy the independence of solo travel, our cruises are becoming increasingly popular with UK solo travellers, as they provide a safe, tailored and welcoming environment for everyone.
Sail Croatia’s cabins are twin-share, and solo travellers are able to book a spot in a cabin, before being matched with a fellow guest.
Alternatively, guests can take advantage of a private cabin for a single supplement.
All Sail Croatia’s sailings have a tour manager on board, to help offer guests advice and support.
The line has an office in Split, where its operations team are based, and guests can book transfers to take them to and from their airport in private vehicles.
