Scenic Luxury Cruises has introduced three brand-new sailings for the 2025 season, based around Spain’s Canary Islands and Tenerife.
The sailings include the Canary Islands & Moroccan Coastline cruise which allows guests to visit destinations including Santa Cruz de la Palma, Funchal in Madeira, Porto Santo Island, Tangier and Malaga.
Guests can also choose to sail on the new Wellness Retreat sailing from Brazil to Tenerife or put the two sailings together for a 20-day cruise across the equator.
Canary Islands & Moroccan Coastline
Starting with an exploration of Tenerife, the Canary Island’s largest island, guests will move on to explore Santa Cruz de la Palma, taking in its colourful houses, grand churches and well-preserved colonial architecture.
In Madeira, an island of Portugal near the coast of Africa, the cruise will dock at the port of Funchal where guests can explore its famous gardens, Mercado dos Lavradores market and excellent restaurants.
The cruise will stop at Porto Santo Island and Tangier, before concluding in Malaga.
Late departures in each port offer an immersive experience in each destination, and guest can make the most of the warm, Mediterranean waters by kayaking and paddleboarding off the back of the ship’s Marina Platform.

Wellness Retreat: Rio to Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Scenic is offering wellness enthusiasts the opportunity to relax in ultra-luxury at sea, in between explorations of Rio de Janeiro and Tenerife in Spain’s famous Canary Islands.
Guests will start each morning with a Sunrise yoga or pilates class and fill their days with engaging Wisdom for Wellness seminars, meditations and rejuvenating treatments at the Senses Spa, such as Sauna Honey Rituals, detoxifying body masks, ice baths and sauna sessions.
Onboard restaurant Scenic Épicure will also offer a culinary masterclass for foodies to join, and guests can close off each day with a beverage at the Sky Bar or even a star gazing meditation.

For those looking for a lengthy getaway, they can choose to complete both the Wellness Retreat: Rio to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Canary Islands & Moroccan Coastline itineraries as part of one 20-day cruise, sailing from South America to Spain, crossing the equator as they go.
