From today, British travellers will no longer need a Covid test or vaccination certificate to enter Spain.
The new health requirements issued by Spain’s tourism ministry come as the country moves to encourage summer holiday arrivals despite the country having amber status in the UK government’s traffic light system for international travel.
An update issued by the Spanish Tourist Office said: “If you are travelling from a country or territory included in the list of countries with low incidence, excluded from the risk zone, you will be able to travel without the need for a diagnostic test or a certificate of vaccination or immunity.”
All passengers arriving in Spain by air or sea, including those in transit, must complete a health control form before their departure, regardless of country of origin.
