Spain has reinstated the demand for negative PCR tests or proof of full vaccinations for UK travellers.
On 24th May, Spain no longer required testing requirements for travellers from the UK.
However, due to the rising concerns over the delta variant, Spain have introduced these new restrictions which will come into effect within 72 hours.
The conditions will particularly affect travellers to the Balearic islands, which are going on the UK’s green ‘watchlist’ list on 30th June.
The rest of Spain will remain on the amber list, which requires quarantine upon return.
The changes follow suit of similar restrictions being introduced by Portugal and Malta.
