St. Kitts Completes Five-City UK Travel Trade Roadshow

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) has completed a five-city roadshow across the UK, held from 20-22 October 2026.

All details correct at the time of publication (02 November 2026).

The roadshow brought together almost 100 travel agents through a series of training workshops, receptions and dining events. The team visited York, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham and London.

Each event combined a destination update with a Kittitian-inspired experience. This gave agents an opportunity to discover more about the island’s culture, cuisine and rum.

The SKTA team included UK Sales & Marketing Consultant Chelcie Lewis and UK Trade Sales Representative Suzy Trott. They shared the latest destination news, covering accommodation, experiences and key selling points. The sessions aimed to help agents sell St. Kitts with greater confidence.

The roadshow began in York with an exclusive Kittitian cookery class for 12 Yorkshire-based agents at The Grand Hotel.

Led by a professional chef, agents prepared a selection of island-inspired dishes before sitting down to enjoy lunch together. A destination presentation was also included in the session.

That evening, the team travelled to Leeds. A further 25 agents joined a welcome drinks and canapés reception in the private room at Cut & Craft restaurant.

In Nottingham, 20 agents took part in a Kittitian chocolate masterclass at Deli-Cious Chocolate, located in the National Justice Museum. They also had the chance to create their own chocolates to take home.

The next stop was Birmingham, where 20 agents enjoyed an interactive cocktail masterclass at Malmaison.

The roadshow concluded in London with a lunch and learn for 15 agents in the private dining room at Bluebird Chelsea.

Travel agents win St. Kitts fam trip places

The roadshow also featured prize draws, with two agents winning places on a St. Kitts familiarisation trip in 2027.

The winners were Sue Lindsay from Brilliant Travel in Birmingham and Jason Washington from CC Travel in Leeds.

Four other agents took home a bottle of Kittitian rum:

  • Darcy Hilsted from Olive Lounge Travel, Leeds
  • Sarah Carrahar from Althams Travel, Leeds
  • Stephanie Watson from Holidays Please, Birmingham
  • Megan Hale from Four Oaks Travel, Birmingham

Chelcie Lewis, UK Sales & Marketing Consultant for the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, said:

“It was wonderful to take St. Kitts on the road and meet so many passionate and talented agents across the UK.

“Rather than simply presenting the destination, we wanted agents to experience what really makes St. Kitts so special – our culture, cuisine and, of course, our rum.

“Travel agents are vital to our success in the UK, and these events give them the knowledge and enthusiasm to inspire their clients to discover the island for themselves.”

St. Kitts heads to World Travel Market 2026

Following the roadshow, St. Kitts Tourism Authority CEO Kelly Fontenelle and Chelcie Lewis will attend World Travel Market at ExCeL London.

The event takes place from 3-5 November 2026. The team will be at stand N7-310, meeting UK travel trade and media partners to share the latest news from St. Kitts.

St. Kitts is also accessible from London Gatwick, with British Airways operating twice-weekly direct flights to the island.
