Tall-ship cruise line, Star Clippers, has confirmed details of the next Spotlight events for travel agents and the trade.
The cruise line said in a statement that it is collaborating with Typically Italian for the events, and focusing on Italy from June to September.
A series of pizza-making events at Pizza Express branches across the country will take place to educate the trade on the cruise line and destination.
Dates and locations confirmed are:
- Wednesday 6th July 2022 – Preston
- Thursday 7th July 2022 – York
- Tuesday 12th July 2022 – Tunbridge
- Thursday 13th July 2022 – Farnham
- Friday 14th July 2022 – Taunton
Agents are invited to arrive at 6pm for Prosecco and Italian appetizers, followed by pizza-making, presentations and drinks.
There will be prizes to be won which will include bottles of Prosecco, Pizza Express vouchers and Italian hampers. The events will finish by 9pm.
Alongside these events, the team will be hosting agents on a FAM trip around the Amalfi Coast at the end of June, as well as an increased focus on Italy via promotions and information on e-blasts and social media.
