As optimism about travel this summer increases, we are pleased to hear how travel agents have reported some of their best sales days in months!
Enquiries and bookings for this year have increased dramatically increased and they continue to do so following the announcement of the governments ‘green list’ this week.
Travel agents have seen a significant shift towards bookings for summer 2021 whilst previously more bookings were made for 2022 and beyond.
A survey of 350 people in January showed 69% planned to travel again when restrictions were lifted. There is of course still a long way to go before sales are back to normal levels, however many are hoping for a travel restart this summer, so we can continue to see enquiries and bookings rise even more after the travel list announcement.
