G Touring brands Travelsphere and Just You have announced changes to their long-haul deposit policies.
Customers will now pay a flat rate of £400pp as a deposit on their holiday, no matter the overall cost of the chosen escorted tour*. It was previously 10% of the value of the tour, with a minimum of £250pp.
The move comes following feedback from travel agents to simplify the message and reduce the costs for those booking long-haul trips.
Tom Morgan, Trade Sales Director at Travelsphere and Just You, said: “This change to a flat rate of £400pp provides clarity and peace of mind to our guests.
“We appreciate that a long-haul trip is a significant investment on their part, so we want to ensure the level of deposit required is crystal clear from the beginning.
“We’ve worked hand-in-hand with travel agents to implement this new system, and it demonstrates that our trade relationships are a two-way partnership and something we value very highly.”
More than 100 long-haul tours are on offer across both brands, visiting destinations such as Africa, Asia, Australasia, North America and South America.
*The Just You ‘Inspirational India – The Deccan Odyssey and Beyond’ tour, priced from £10,499, requires a deposit of £1,500pp and is marketed as a 25th-anniversary tour.
Just You has introduced three new escorted tours for 2026. The specialist solo tour operator unveiled the itineraries in its new travel brochure, which is available now.
All itineraries include return flights, select meals, overseas transfers, and accommodation – with a guaranteed twin or double room of their own for every guest and a Just You holiday director.
Travelsphere has also reported a strong start to the year with additional European tour dates to meet demand.
