The ongoing uncertainty continues over travel and in the early hours of Saturday morning, Tui has announced several changes and cancelled all holidays to the following destinations:
Up to and including 28th June:
Zante
Up to and including 4th July:
Aruba
Croatia
Cyprus
Greece – Crete (Chania), Kavala, Kefalonia, Mykonos, Preveza, Samos, Santorini, Skiathos, Thessaloniki
Italy
Jamaica
Malta
Spain – Mainland Spain, Formentera, Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca, La Palma
All Tui, Lakes & Mountains destinations
Up to and including 11th July:
Bulgaria
Cape Verde
Costa Rica
Dominican Republic
Egypt
Mexico
Morocco
Tunisia
Turkey
The company also had to cancel all holidays which include non-Tui flights to Indonesia, Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand and UAE up to including 11th July.
The cancellations are following the governments’ updates every three weeks, with the next update expected on 24th June.
“The following amber destinations, where borders are open and FCDO advice allows travel, will continue to operate as scheduled: Antigua, Barbados, Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Cuba (Varadero), Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Grenada, Lanzarote, Kos, Madeira, Porto Santo, Portugal, Rhodes, St Lucia and Tenerife.”
However, all Tui holidays to Florida departing up to 30th June have been cancelled.
Marella Cruises cancelled its planned sailings on Marella Discovery 2 from 1st November until 30th April 2022 including all Asia sailings and ‘Ancient Affair’ and ‘Mediterranean Islands’ departures from Cyprus.
Other sailings by Marella Discovery 2 and Marella Discovery remain cancelled until 31st July.
