She also revealed many customers misunderstand what’s included in the price:
“Your accommodation, main meals and entertainment are covered, but things like drinks packages, excursions and WiFi can cost extra. Planning for that upfront makes everything stress-free.”
Cabin choice is another area where Brits can upgrade their experience:
“If your budget allows, go for a balcony cabin. It gives you space, privacy and those incredible sea views. It really elevates your first cruise.”
Once onboard, Michelle says there’s one thing that surprises people the most:
“It’s just how easy it all feels. No packing and unpacking, incredible service and endless choice. People settle into cruise life almost immediately.”
Her top tip for first-time cruisers is simple:
“Plan the essentials but don’t overthink it. Cruising is designed to be effortless. Once you’re onboard, relax and enjoy it.”
