As of September 22, Maldives was removed from the UK’s red list.
On September 28, the British High Commission in the Maldives tweeted on its page @UKinMaldives:

Maldives alongside Turkey and Pakistan were among eight countries removed from UK’s Travel Red List. Following removal, travellers from the Maldives will no longer be required to undergo a quarantine period of 10 days upon arrival.
The country aims to welcome 1.3 million visitors this year with the UK being the top 10 tourism markets for the Maldives.
