UK Red List Update

Share this:

The UK Foreign Office (FCDO) has removed its warning against non-essential travel to more than 32 countries including Bangladesh, Gambia, Ghana, Malaysia, Algeria and Senegal, meaning that travellers from these countries do not have to self-quarantine or isolate themselves upon returning to the UK.

The UK government is still advising against all but essential travel for countries on the red list including Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.

While the UK had recently replaced its traffic light system with a single red list and reduced testing requirements, travellers will still need to prove that they have been fully vaccinated, or follow procedures required for non-vaccinated individuals.
