Viking, a cruise ship operator whose operations are based in Basel, Switzerland, and whose marketing is based in Los Angeles, California, US, will return to sailing in the Mediterranean.
The voyage is part of the “Welcome Back” collection which will be served using the Viking Venus and Viking Sea ships for 11 days, anchoring in the capital of Malta, etc.
In addition, Viking is also adding more sailing dates this summer for “Welcome Back” cruises around Iceland and Bermuda.
“We thank the government of Malta for its support and enthusiasm as we continue to restarting operations,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking.
Malta, Hagen continued, is a fantastic destination with an ancient history, a rich culture, and a central location on the Mediterranean.
