Travellers from within not only the UK but also the US and Canada are turning to Travel Agents due to the complexity of Covid-19 travel regulations.
Graeme Buck, Abta’s director of communications, said research by the American Society of Travel Advisors showed that holidaymakers are 25% more likely to book a holiday with a travel professional now than before the pandemic.
Consumers are looking for more security and more expertise as well as the protection offered by agency bookings.
Travel Agents offer personalised services and are able to provide more information and recommendations based on the consumer. Their knowledge and expertise is also deemed to be more valuable due to the ever-changing travel environment.
