Specialist wildlife and soft adventure tour operator Windows On The Wild has launched a collection of new itineraries in Kenya.

Catering to different styles of travel, the Wild Elegance Safari combines exceptional wildlife experiences with boutique luxury, while the Eco Bush Camps Safari offers a more authentic, low-impact way to explore Kenya, with intimate camps and a strong focus on conservation.
Both packages are in collaboration with the award-winning Gamewatchers Safaris, who made history by winning both the ATTA Earthkeepers Award and the ATTA Eco-Innovation Award in June.
Wild Elegance Safari from £6,679 per person
The Wild Elegance Safari takes guests on a nine-night journey through three of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations, staying in a collection of intimate luxury camps chosen for their exceptional locations, comfort and commitment to conservation.
The adventure begins at Elewana Tortilis Camp in Amboseli National Park, where spacious safari tents afford spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, Amboseli also offers the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes and an abundance of birdlife on expertly guided game drives and bush walks.
The itinerary then moves to River Camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where just six luxury tents overlook the Ngobit River. Alongside exceptional wildlife viewing, guests can learn more about one of Kenya’s most important conservation areas, including the option to visit the Endangered Species Boma, home to the world’s last two northern white rhinos, or take part in an exclusive lion-tracking experience.
The safari concludes at Hemingways Ol Seki Mara Camp in the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy. With nine luxury tents and one villa overlooking the plains, the camp offers a peaceful base for exploring one of Kenya’s most wildlife-rich regions, where guests may encounter big cats, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, jackals.
This prime location offers the possibility to view the spectacular Great Migration in the neighbouring Masai Mara National Reserve between July and October. As a partner of the conservancy, the camp also plays an active role in protecting this remarkable landscape, allowing guests to experience Kenya’s wildlife while supporting its long-term conservation.

Eco Bush Camps Safari from £6,439 per person
Traversing four diverse safari regions, this itinerary combines guided bush walks and night drives for a more immersive experience throughout the journey, with top class opportunities to view big cats in the Mara conservancies.
Travel between the locations is by light aircraft so the safari experience will be in open, specially designed safari vehicles, accompanied by a local guide and tracker who can track and spot the wildlife for extraordinary up-close experiences.
The first stop in the Selenkay Conservancy includes the opportunity to see iconic wildlife like lions and some of the last remaining big tusker elephants, as well as rarer animals such as the gerenuk and lesser kudu. All with the beautiful back drop of the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro.
Then explore the Ol Pejeta Conservancy to spot the Big Five and other animals such as the vervet monkey or the jackal, serval and hyena. For those seeking an even-deeper wildlife experience, there is also the additional option to visit the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos, mother and daughter duo Nanjin and Fatu.
Acacias and ancient baobab trees adorn the vast open plains of Meru National Park, providing a vital sanctuary for elephants from the intense sun. The park boasts over 400 recorded bird species making it a perfect stop for twitchers.
The itinerary ends with a stay in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, which offers the chance to spend time with one of the largest prides of lions in the Mara ecosystem. Here, exploring can be done at the travellers’ pace: early morning game drives with a coffee stop, slowly on guided walking activities or a rare opportunity to observe the park’s nocturnal wildlife like the elusive leopards or the distinctive aardvark on a thrilling night game drive.
The itinerary is available for travel year-round. Travellers hoping for the chance to witness the Great Migration in the Masai Mara should travel between 1 July and 30 September, when sightings may be possible. The one-day park entrance fee to enter the Mara is included in the cost when travelling at this time.
