New Hotel Openings
Finding somewhere to stay won’t be an issue as Valencia unveiled a series of new hotels in spring, including One Shot Puerta Ruzafa in the vibrant neighbourhood of Ruzafa.
This boutique hotel opened its doors in May and has incorporated art and nature into its design. Each floor represents a fundamental part of the natural cycle – depicting roots, water, stem-flower and the sun – offering a sensory journey between nature and architecture.
With 92 light and spacious rooms, all featuring rainfall showers, it is a perfect place to stay in the heart of Valencia.
The Grand Hotel Centenari Valencia also opened its doors in May, housed in the historic Telefonica building. This Autograph Collection property pays homage to its heritage with an Art Deco-inspired design.
Offering 53 rooms, the hotel features a restaurant-bar as well as a dedicated music area complete with a platform and grand stage. Centrally located, it is the ideal base for visitors to explore the city.
Take it Poolside
Valencia also offers a plethora of hotels with swimming pools, allowing visitors to enjoy taking a dip before or after exploring the city’s sights. For those seeking epic views, opt for Barceló Valencia.
This property boasts a rooftop pool located in the city and overlooking Calatrava’s spectacular City of Arts and Sciences.
For families, Hotel Las Arenas offers something for everyone. This five-star resort features a children’s pool in addition to several outdoor swimming pools with views of the Mediterranean.
The Blue Pool & Bar adds to the experience with relaxed dining and a wide selection of cocktails, fresh juices and smoothies. The hotel is located right beside the beach and steps from La Marina de Valencia.
Discover the Music Scene
The city of Valencia is renowned for its lively music scene, with a continual rotation of great festivals and visiting artists. This is only set to increase as the newest events venue, Roig Arena, opens its doors in September.
This 20,000-person capacity venue will serve as the home of Valencia Basket Club and a stage for major sporting events and concerts. The likes of Camilo, Sebastián Yatra, Roxette, The Waterboys and Hans Zimmer are all set to perform, and tickets are now available for purchase.
If your customers are looking for a lively music venue, then they can head to La Casa de la Mar. Located just 100 metres from Patacona Beach, this venue can host up to 300 and blends a unique blend of live music, good food, and great vibes.
With daily events ranging from pop and rock to flamenco and indie, the venue welcomes all musical styles and showcases both local and international talent.
