Wizz Air has launched a new summer route from London Gatwick Airport to Varna in Bulgaria. The flights will be operated three times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Adding to five existing flights per week from London Luton Airport, Wizz Air will be serving the London – Varna connection daily.

The new route will run throughout summer from June 18th, 2024, with fares starting from £26.99. Tickets are available to purchase from today at wizzair.com or on Wizz Air’s mobile app.

Varna is the historical maritime capital of Bulgaria and the nation’s third-largest city.

Situated on the coast of the Black Sea, Varna is a combination of a port, naval base and seaside resort with an array of attractions for UK travellers.

Its 32km long coastline offers more than 22 beaches – making it a perfect alternative destination for a holiday this summer.

History lovers can explore the city’s Archaeological Museum and Roman Thermae Baths – the largest in Bulgaria and the fourth-largest of its kind in Europe.

Travellers can also roam around the several green spaces in the city, including the famous Primorski Park.

Passengers can book tickets with confidence, thanks to WIZZ Flex.

With WIZZ Flex, passengers can cancel their flight up to three hours before departure without any fee and receive 100% of the fare immediately reimbursed in airline credit.
