The line-up includes parties, quizzes, arts and crafts and live shows for guests of every age. With the entertainment built into the sailing and included in the fare, there’s no planning required, so families can simply turn up and take part, whether that’s a dance lesson, a costume competition or an evening in the theatre.
Led by MSC Cruises youth and cruise teams, the month-long programme has something for the whole family, with dedicated activities for children, teens and grown-ups alike, so every generation can get involved.
Younger guests have a programme just for them, running throughout the month:
- Spooky House – Once a week, the kids’ space is given a spooky-house makeover for little ones to explore, with the youth team in costume to greet them.
- Wicked Wiggle Dance Shop – Halloween-themed dance lessons led by the onboard instructors, with a guest appearance from mascot Doremi.
- Halloween Carnival – A weekly carnival packed with games and prizes to be won.
- Halloween Crafting – Craft sessions where children design their own Halloween makeup and costumes ahead of the competition.
- Halloween Costume Competition – Hosted by mascot Doremi, children showcase the costumes they have made, with an MSC officer on judging duty.
- Family Spooky Party – A family celebration with games and dancing set to a Halloween soundtrack.
Teenagers have their own dedicated line-up as well:
- Haunted Face Paint & SFX – A face-painting and special-effects session where teens create their scariest look ahead of the Abracadabra Party.
- Abracadabra Party – A teens-only Halloween party, held once per sailing from 10pm to 1am.

Halloween fun isn’t just for little ones – guests of all ages can enjoy themed activities hosted by the cruise staff throughout the month:
- Adult Halloween Costume Competition – With a prize for the best-dressed guest.
- Halloween Party – An evening of themed music and dancing among spooky decorations.
- Haunted Hallway Challenge – A cabin-door decorating competition, with a prize for the most creative design.
- Halloween Quiz – A live trivia session challenging guests on the origins and traditions behind Halloween.
