Catering to both Android and iOS users, the new free-to-use app allows users to accurately and visually log the exact satellite-derived route of their cruise holiday on an interactive map.
Users also benefit from a full breakdown of the statistics from their entire cruise history, including the number of ports and countries visited, along with the exact total distance travelled.
Live cruise tracking will also be a prominent feature on the app, which was previously launched on the digital platform in June 2025.
Utilising AIS satellite data, the live tracking displays cruises in a vivid satellite view, with more in-port detail than existing ship trackers. It uses the best live data available on the market for maximum accuracy and offers users the first-ever 3D imagery of live cruises across the globe.
There is much more ahead for The Cruise Globe in 2025, with the announcement of the vision for ‘Cruise Discovery’.
AGENT BENEFIT
Agents will be able to use the feature to see accurate predicted routes of upcoming cruises, filtering by preferred destinations, ports, or cruise lines to quickly match clients with the right voyage.
Acting as a pocket guide for the on-the-go agent, the app will make it easy to access detailed information on ships, itineraries, and past sailings at any time and anywhere.
Matthew Jones, Co-Founder of The Cruise Globe, commented: “The launch of our new mobile app marks a huge milestone for The Cruise Globe.
“It offers a ready-made companion for agents who can utilise their previous routes to inspire clients whilst on the go at events and shows.
“We started this as a passion project for cruise fans, and we’ve now grown it into a community of over 60,000 users in just six months, and we’re just getting started.”
Dan Hammond, Cruise & Travel Specialist at GoCruise & Travel, added: “The new Cruise Globe app will let me showcase the journeys I’ve taken and the routes ships sail, adding a personal touch when inspiring clients.
“The ability to visually share past cruises and highlight real itineraries on the app is a great tool to bring the excitement of cruising to life wherever I am. The Cruise Globe app will be a game changer for us!”
The FREE digital platform and app was founded by naval architect Will and publishing entrepreneur Matt, university friends in their thirties, together with leading cruise influencer Emma Le Teace – uniting their expertise to give cruise fans the first tool to accurately and visually log, track and discover their holidays.
With over 300,000 sailings and counting already logged on The Cruise Globe, devoted cruise fanatics show no sign of slowing down.
The app is now available on the Android and iOS app stores.
