Riviera Travel Credits ‘Best January In History’ To Trade Partners

Riviera Travel is celebrating its best January on record, crediting its phenomenal growth to the unwavering support of its trade partners and the hard work of its teams. With February now underway, the company says it is “optimistic the positive momentum will continue”.

Over the past two years, Riviera has been on an exceptional growth trajectory. Both 2024 and 2025 set new benchmarks for the business, and January 2026 has already exceeded expectations.

Year-to-date, Riviera is up +36% in passengers and +42% in revenue versus the same period last year a remarkable achievement given how strong last year’s results were.

While river cruise continues to be the driving force, where Riviera remains a major market leader, the business is also seeing significant acceleration in touring, with growth spread across the entire trade distribution landscape. The message is clear: the trade is backing Riviera in a big way.

Vicky Billing, Director of Trade & Partnerships, credits the success to three key factors:

Riviera Travel says its investment in trade tools continues to pay dividends. So far this year, RIVA has helped over 1000 agents with sales queries at crucial booking moments.

Nearly 2,000 agents have played The Vault, all through the one-stop Riviera Explorer platform, evidence that the company’s vision of seamless trade engagement is becoming a reality.

Looking ahead, Riviera Travel says it is gearing up for a strong February. The successful 10% off RC 2026 campaign runs until 16 February, with The Vault active right through to 2 March.
