Riviera Travel has celebrated the keel laying of its newest river cruise ship, Riviera Alba, which will operate the operator’s Vietnam, Cambodia & Mekong River Cruise.

The keel laying marks a significant milestone in the ship’s construction and is a traditional maritime symbol of new beginnings. Once complete, Riviera Alba will sail the Mekong River, offering guests an immersive journey through Vietnam and Cambodia, combined with Riviera’s signature onboard comfort and service.
The 16-day Vietnam, Cambodia & Mekong River Cruise includes scheduled international flights to Saigon with return from Hanoi, an internal flight between Siem Reap and Hanoi, and all transfers throughout.
Guests will enjoy seven nights on board Riviera Alba and six nights in hand-picked four- and five-star hotels, with 14 included experiences. The cruise operates on a full-board basis, with breakfast included during hotel stays and selected meals throughout the tour. Selected drinks are included on board, alongside complimentary water, a refillable bottle, tea and coffee throughout the day, drinks with lunch and dinner, and a daily sundowner cocktail.
Highlights include guided tours of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, visits to the Cu Chi tunnels, Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and poignant excursions to the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Guests will also explore Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon, experience Cambodia’s Phare Circus, and visit traditional Mekong fishing villages and craft communities.
