From 13 July 2026, SIA’s Manchester-Singapore services, SQ301 and SQ302, will increase from five-times weekly to daily.
From 25 October 2026, SIA’s London Gatwick operation will increase from 10 times a week to a twice-daily service, with the current SQ313 and SQ314 operating daily.
This will give SIA two daily services from the airport, and six daily flights in total from London, after including the four daily services from London Heathrow.
Manchester Airport and London Gatwick routes are operated by SIA’s Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft, which is configured with 253 seats (42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class, and 187 in Economy Class).
In Business Class, customers can savour fine dining from Guest Chef Monica Galetti, along with an award-winning wine collection. Customers in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class can also enjoy an exclusive dessert from Chef Galetti. SIA also offers complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi access across all cabin classes.
Mohamed Rafi Mar, General Manager UK & Ireland, Singapore Airlines, said: “Singapore Airlines continues to offer customers more choice and connectivity to Singapore than any other carrier in the UK.
“With up to 49 flights a week from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester Airport, plus seamless onward connections across our global network via the award-winning Singapore Changi Airport, customers can look forward to world-class service, gourmet dining, and exciting in-flight entertainment.”
Manchester Airport Managing Director, Chris Woodroofe, said: “Here at Manchester Airport, we are proud to connect the North to the world and our relationship with Singapore Airlines – which has been going strong for 40 years – plays a key part in that, opening up one of the planet’s most exciting destinations to people in our region.
“It’s a hugely popular destination with travellers from the North and provides opportunities for the area’s businesses to link up with an influential financial centre. And in return, the route also opens up our own region to people from Singapore, bringing benefits in terms of tourism and more.
“That’s why it’s so exciting that Singapore Airlines will soon be operating daily from Manchester – their home in the North. We’re really looking forward to welcoming even more Singapore Airlines passengers when the additional services start this summer.”
Jonny Macneal, Head of Aviation Development, London Gatwick, said: “The increase to double‑daily flights reflects strong demand on the Gatwick–Singapore route and highlights the importance of this service for both business and leisure passengers.
“We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Singapore Airlines and welcome this significant capacity development, which provides enhanced connectivity for our passengers.”
In Europe, SIA continues to invest in its operation, today announcing a new five-times weekly Madrid-Barcelona-Singapore service, starting from 26 October 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
Additional services from Munich will also be added from October to meet passenger demand and enhance connectivity.
