Clients dreaming of guaranteed sunshine this summer? New research by hoppa has revealed the warmest beaches in Europe, with Cyprus, Greece and Spain dominating the ranking.

The airport transfers experts at hoppa analysed dozens of European getaways, scoring each on factors such as average summer temperatures.
Also included are airport-to-beach transfer time, average 3-star hotel cost, and Google review scores to determine the easiest European beach destinations for Brits to travel to.
Topping the ranking in first place as Europe’s warmest beach is Nissi Beach, located in Ayia Napa in Cyprus.
The beach also achieves over 12 hours of daily sunshine, zero mm of monthly rainfall during the summer, and an average 3-star hotel in the area comes in at just £79 per night. Making it both reliable for sunshine and overall cost.
Following up in second place is Greece’s very own Vouliagmeni Beach, located in the Athens Riviera, achieving average summer temperatures of 26.7 degrees. Similarly, this beach averages 12.6 daily sunshine hours during the summer and is about 37 minutes from its closest airport. Great for both convenience and weather reliability.
Another Cyprus beach completes the top three with temperatures of 25.8 degrees. Coral Bay, based in Peyia, Paphos, Cyprus, is popular with beach lovers, with a 4.4 out of 5 on Google and just 1 mm of rainfall during the summer months.
The study also revealed:
- Portugal’s Praia de Faro ranks as Europe’s easiest beach getaway, with a transfer time of just five minutes — seven times faster than the 35-minute average.
- Faliraki Beach in Rhodes has the most affordable accommodation, with nearby three-star hotels averaging just £36 per night.
- The most popular beach, according to Google Search Data, is Barceloneta Beach with over 4.7 million searches over the last 12 months.
