Cunard Cruises Presents Events Voyages for 2022

From Music and Literature to Theatre and Art & Design, Cunard Cruises have announced their new special Event Voyages for 2022 taking Centre Stage on flagship Queen Mary 2, and sister ship Queen Elizabeth.

Guests will enjoy an opportunity to meet and mingle with renowned authors, West End theatre stars, wax nostalgic with one the world’s top Beatles tribute bands, and learn insider views and latest trends with the line’s new Art & Design Week.

“Cunard is excited to again offer an incredible array of Event Voyages in 2022, which have become an eagerly anticipated hallmark of Cunard’s on board experience,” said Jamie Paiko, vice president of Sales for Cunard North America.

“From art and literature to music and design, our guests enjoy the luxury of time to more deeply delve into their passions, and appreciate the opportunity to meet notable luminaries form all over the world. Anticipation is high for the return of Event Voyage favourites, as well as those new to Cunard, and ones we hope will be equally revered in the future,” Paiko added. 

Here’s a taster of what guests can expect:

London Theatre at Sea
15th – 22nd May 2022

Showcasing Olivier Award-winning talent both on and off stage. London Theatre at Sea will feature an illustrious line-up of guests in conversation about their careers, as well as talks on productions, how they are put together, and the theatres themselves.

Beatles and Beyond
8th – 17th May 2022
Queen Elizabeth will play host to their first ever Beatles and Beyond: Celebrating the Best of British voyage. Through music, film, tastings and demonstrations, we celebrate much-loved aspects of British culture. This nine-night voyage will depart from Tokyo, tracing the shores of Japan and South Korea.
 
Art and Design Week
28th August – 4th September 2022
Cunard’s first-ever Art and Design Week is a one-of-a-kind experience that will take guests on a journey celebrating the best of design past, present and future.
 

Literature Festival at Sea
3rd – 10th December 2022
There will be bookish delights around every corner, from meeting the authors to workshops and unique seminars.

Anthony Inglis and the National Symphony Orchestra
25th October – 1st November 2022

A musical journey across the Atlantic with the National Symphony Orchestra, led by returning special guest Anthony Inglis. Guests can experience the best picks of both American and British classical music in two special concerts, as well as a special presentation of Ravel’s Bolero.
