Digital ‘Talent Matching’ Service Dedicated To The Recruitment of Travel Professionals

A cross between Tinder and LinkedIn, but for travel professionals. Travel Talent Direct, a platform dedicated to changing the way the travel industry recruits, by taking a tech-centric approach to matchmaking.

Travel Talent Direct is a service developed to help over 160,000 travel industry employees who lost their jobs during the pandemic to find new roles.

Created by Feefo chief executive, Tony Wheble and Orginal Travel marketing director, Andy Smith, have said the service will use relevant data to ensure talent profiles are matched to suitable vacancies by sector and skills.

Travel professionals can build, free of charge, a data-rich, sector-specific, and skills-based profile to showcase their travel expertise,

The profiles, searchable by employers, initially based on an anonymous basis, allow candidates to accept or reject contact or interview requests from potential employers.

From tour operators and airlines to cruise specialists and online travel agencies, with jobs in fields including sales, marketing, product, service, and commercial.

Travel Talent Direct said it would also offer help and guidance on preparing for interviews, increasing chances of success and opportunities to upskill.
