Iberostar Beachfront Resorts has reopened the doors of its Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park Hotel on Jandia Beach, Fuerteventura, after an “ambitious” refurbishment project.
The all-inclusive family hotel reflects all the attributes that define the new Iberostar Waves concept, a fun and reassuring hotel concept designed for value-savvy families and beach-loving couples.
The resort, located in the surroundings of the Jandía Natural Park, has 237 completely renovated spacious rooms and suites with most accommodating up to five or six people.
The new stand-out family suites with two rooms and the themed rooms are carefully designed for the little ones with furniture inspired by the elements of the sea and surfing, five outdoor pools, and a spa.
For younger guests, the resort boasts “an endless number of surprises” that start from the slide in the reception, to the children’s spaces such as the Star Camp, a splash pool and an extended children’s pool area with games and aquafun activities.
This renewed family concept introduces four completely new, varied, healthy and sustainable gastronomic experience, with quality products and a wide range of responsibly sourced fish and seafood.

The hotel chain plans to employ 240 people in Fuerteventura for the hotel.
The new resort is also 100% electric with its energy coming from renewable sources, like the rest of Iberostar’s hotels in Spain.
