Jet Edge, a private jet airline operator based in Los Angeles, California, has now equipped its planes with 4G Streaming Wi-Fi. It is the first facility a private jet has ever seen.
In providing these facilities, Jet Edge collaborates with Gogo Business Aviation, a company that provides aircraft internet connections under the auspices of Gogo Inflight Internet from Broomfield, Colorado.
Currently, partial installation of the Avance L5 Gogo system (approximately 20 aircraft) has been completed successfully. Thus, Jet Blue customers can enjoy a high-speed internet connection in the aircraft cabin.
“Jet Edge is proud to partner with Gogo, the industry leader for high-speed Wi-Fi,” said Bill Papariella, CEO of Jet Edge, recently. “The Avance L5 system truly stands out as a game-changer for in-air connectivity.”
Papariella added that providing high-speed streaming across the entire aircraft was another way for Jet Edge to enhance its customer experience. The conversion is scheduled to be completed at the end of the third quarter.
