Princess Cruises has revealed additional Mediterranean voyages for the inaugural season of its newest, largest, and “most innovative” ship, Sun Princess.
Sun Princess will sail on a 10-night Grand Mediterranean inaugural voyage on February 8, 2024. The additional Mediterranean itineraries through to September 2024 will go on sale on November 9, 2022.
All itineraries will begin and end in Southampton, where the ship will arrive on September 22 and 23, 2024.
The full European season includes 10-night itineraries visiting popular stops throughout the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.
Also available is a series of seven-night voyages departing from either Barcelona, Rome (Civitavecchia) or Athens, which can be combined for 14-night or 21-night voyages.
Currently, under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Sun Princess features a freshly designed Piazza and a new cutting-edge entertainment space, The Dome, inspired by the terraces of Santorini.
There will be more than 29 restaurants and bars and 21 decks and more than 1,500 balcony staterooms, and all balcony and oceanview staterooms boast an in-room sofa.
The vessel will also be the first Princess ship and one of 11 new vessels in the corporate fleet powered by Liquified Natural Gas (LNG).

“Sun Princess will also be our first ship to be powered by eco-friendly Liquefied Natural Gas, just one of a host of ways we are honouring our commitment to sustainable operations.”

Past Princess guests are eligible for a special promotion when they book Sun Princess voyages early.
The special promotion consists of a Captain’s Circle Launch Discount. These discounts do not apply to third or fourth-berth guests and the discount expires on January 31, 2023.
