Travala.com, a global online travel agency that has adopted cryptocurrency payments, on Friday (30/4) launched Concierge, a premium personalized travel booking service for high-income travelers.
Concierge was launched at a time when global travel was starting to seek a path of recovery and the cryptocurrency market capitalization surpassed US$2 trillion—taking the number of millionaires to rise from 15,000 one year ago to 100,000 today.
In addition, it is also at a time when tourists have a strong desire to make up for the time spent traveling last year due to the pandemic. In a Travala.com survey, 71% of people are prepared to spend more money on travel than before the pandemic and 23% of people are willing to spend double their salary on international travel.
With the Concierge service, Travala.com customers can “order” extra treatment like priority customers in banking institutions, allowing them to feel like stars throughout the travel experience.
These are customers who book a minimum of US$50,000 per year on Travala.com or who need access to travel services on private jets, cruises, helicopter transfers, luxury limousines, rest on private islands, etc.
“We launched Concierge to provide the luxury experience they wanted, including tailor-made personalization, exclusive services, and high-end experiences, which can be paid for in cryptocurrency or fiat or both,” said Juan Otero, CEO of Travala.com.
